Paula was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of five. We were told that it was inoperable and she would not survive I wasn’t taking no for an answer. So Mom drove to New York, then to Yale New Haven, where she was seen by Dr. Charles Duncan, a pediatric neurosurgeon.   He stated he had only seen 10 of these Statewide and that it could be done.

My Daughter will be 40 in November.

I thank him every day. Because of the operation, it left her with many issues, both emotional and physical.  It has been a long, hard road with speech occupational and physical therapy.  She has always fought to fit in and be part of the community. Paula is always working to improve herself. She has just started with this program and likes it.  It seems to be making a difference in her life now that she is working with others with ABI .

Thank you Tad and Staff!
